One of the most important things in this time is to guard our emotional and mental wellness. We are not responsible for others actions but we are responsible for the energy that we bring into the spaces and places around us, which has a continuous ripple effect because our energy, thoughts and behavior affects everyone and everything around us.

Therefore I invite you to experience this song as a mindfulness exercise. Allow yourself just a few minutes to release all stress, anger, fear and despair over the past or the future and allow yourself to enter fully into the present moment, which is full of possibilities and opportunities for how you wish to be right now. The source of all life on our planet radiates from the light of the sun, which is a deeper metaphor for the light that is within each of us that keeps us alive. The more we focus on and grow our inner light, the more we embody the reason that we are here for such a time as this. Imagine a moment in time when you have felt the most wonderful, gentle and loving presence of the sun glowing down on you on a perfect sunny day and you are relaxing outside in the grass basking in the glow of the sunlight on your being, filling you with an inner radiance and peace that causes you to feel light and energized. Embrace that feeling, allow it to permeate your cells the way a plant absorbs the sun light by photosynthesis so it can grow. “let the sun shine down on your face…let all those past regrets be erased…..just let the sun shine down on your face….and keep it in the light.” As you experience the song and allow yourself to grow the light inside of you, hold onto that light and share it in the spaces and places around you as you go about your day. Thank you and may all beings in all times and all places experience and share the true light of life which is love.
